Where Centropic is going.

Four stages, each building on the last. We move on when the current stage works for real teams.

This is a direction, not a schedule. Order and scope may change as we learn from the teams who use Centropic.

Requirement management for the agentic era

Write clear requirements from the tools and sources you already have, and find conflicts before anything is built.

  • Connect Jira, Linear and Confluence, and add notes, documents and plain text
  • Check each requirement for conflicts and similarities against what already exists
  • Record the decisions that resolve them
  • Keep requirements in your own git repository, approved by people, with linked tickets kept up to date in Jira and Linear
  • Follow the permissions people already have in Jira, Linear and Confluence, so everyone sees only what they're allowed to
  • Flag conflicts with restricted requirements without revealing them, and ask someone with access to resolve them
  • Serve approved requirements to coding agents through an MCP server, with no more access than the person using them

Why it comes first. Agents build what the requirements say, so proper requirement management is what lets agentic development run smoothly. Teams in regulated industries, where requirements have to be managed properly, feel the difference most.

Every change, checked again

Requirements don't stand still. When something changes anywhere, Centropic shows what it affects and checks it again.

  • When a source changes, see which requirements are affected and check them again
  • Connect GitHub, so code and pull requests become part of the picture
  • Generate requirements from what your connected tools already hold
  • Add more sources as teams ask for them
  • Enterprise access controls: roles per project, single sign-on (SAML), automatic user provisioning (SCIM) and an audit log of who saw and changed what
Later3

Product intent as one source of truth

Product intent connects requirements, decisions and product descriptions, and stays current as the team works. It becomes the curated context that agentic workflows build from.

  • One connected view of requirements, decisions and product descriptions
  • Curated and kept up to date, not a pile of documents
  • Served to coding agents through the MCP server
  • Live traceability from requirement to decision, test case, commit and release
Later4

Verify and validate against the intent

Tools to test, verify and validate the built product against the product intent, so quality is assured before every production release.

  • Check what was built against what was intended
  • Build on the test automation tooling your team already has
  • Catch gaps and drift before they reach production
  • Audit evidence as a byproduct: packs generated from linked requirements, tests and results

Low cost, at every stage.

Each task goes to a model sized for it, so simple work doesn't pay for heavy models. The same routing runs through all four stages, so cost stays low as usage grows.
